For additional information, including Intended Use, please review our Legal page.

Pre-Admission Testing (PAT):

Clinicians can use this comprehensive tool to:

  • Stratify and enroll patients in Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) plans
  • Reduce same day surgical cancellations
  • Create a compliant History & Physical review
  • Initiate patient prehabilitation and optimization
  • Highlight patient risk factors so they can be mitigated by the care team prior to surgery
  • View data integrated from HIT systems, and to send PAT/PAE data to a facility EHR

Pre-Anesthesia Evaluation (PAE):

The PAE is integrated with HIT systems to prepopulate essential data, including demographics, nursing data, patient medications, labs, etc. As defined by medical facility patient care protocols, Anesthesia Care Teams can use the PAE to:

  • Quickly review, validate and update the information collected during PAT
  • Operationalize an ERAS protocol
  • Use Quick start features to autopopulate data from prior/recent surgeries to expedite documentation

IntraOp/Block:

Clinicians can document intraoperative care using a 19” touchscreen monitor mounted on the anesthesia machine or workstation on wheels – this enables clinicians to keep their “hands free” for patient care in the OR without worrying about dropping a tablet, or fumbling for the mouse and keyboard.

As defined by medical facility patient care protocols, the Talis intraoperative module includes:

  • Comprehensive anesthesia templates configured for all case types – General, Cardiac, GI, Neuro, ASC-Fast Cases
  • Integrated prompts, notifications, and recommendations keep clinicians informed in real-time – can be used to help operationalize intraoperative portion of an ERAS protocol
  • Full integration with Pyxis and Omnicell automated medication dispensing cabinets with integrated controlled medication wasting and pharmacy reporting (see Pharmacy management)

PostOp/Recovery:

Clinicians can view patient data while patient is in PACU and document a post-anesthesia note using any mobile device.  As defined by medical facility patient care protocols, a clinician can:

  • View patient vital signs in real-time
  • Document post-anesthesia note using any mobile device
  • Operationalize post-operative portion of an ERAS protocol
